Senesi registered a very impressive 4 goals and 5 assists from 26 matches last season and is nailed to start in central defence for Bournemouth this season.
He picked up an injury that saw him miss out on a chunk of games last season, so don’t be too alarmed at his appearance numbers.
However, the value just isn’t there with him this year due to his £5m price point, especially because Bournemouth don’t tend to keep many clean sheets.
Illia Zabarnyi (£4.5m)
Bournemouth’s other 1st choice CB is expected to partner with Senesi in defence.
For £4.5m he’s slightly more appealing as a Fantasy asset, but doesn’t pose as much threat in front of goal as Senesi.
I’d steer clear unless Bournemouth have an amazing run of easy fixtures during the course of the campaign.
Milos Kerkez (£4.5m)
Kerkez only managed 22 starts at LB last season, meaning he wasn’t the undisputed 1st choice in this position.
He’ll once again face competition from the offensively-minded Ouattara on the left, making him prone to rotation.
Adam Smith (£4.5m) / Max Aarons (£4.5m)
Smith is clearly getting on in age, which becomes evident at the highest level.
He should get the chance to start the season at RB, but Aarons could definitely ease his way into the starting 11 as the season progresses.
There’s no clear starter at RB, so avoid bringing in any of them due to the rotation risk.
