Man Utd and England’s 1st choice LB missed a large number of games because of injury last season, but he’s now back to full fitness.
Is able to combine well with Rashford on the left, meaning he could chip in with a few assists on top of the clean sheet points.
He’s also on corners but United aren’t a team known for capitalizing from dead-ball situations.
Should manage around 30 starts in the league if he stays healthy, and can also be useful at LCB in the absence of Martinez, as Ten Hag is known to prefer a left-footed player on the left side of central defence.
For £5m, he’s definitely a player worth considering.
Diogo Dalot (£5m)
Dalot has cemented his place as 1st choice RB at the club, starting 35 times last season.
His versatility also means he can also slot in at LB when required, making him a useful asset to the team.
As a Fantasy asset, he’s not as enticing as there are arguably better options in the United defence.
Lisandro Martínez (£4.5m)
Lisandro’s impact on the solidity of the United defence is without question. When he returned to the starting line-up against Brighton in the last game of the season, the defence was noticeably better due to his ability in the air and on the ball.
If he stays fit, all of United’s defensive assets will get a boost, as his ability to organise the defence should help the team pick up more clean sheets.
At £4.5m he’s one of the top choices in this price bracket.
Leny Yoro (£4.5m)
New signing Leny Yoro will get plenty of gametime at RCB, but he won’t be the undisputed 1st choice in that position, especially because the club are still rumoured to be signing Matthijs de Ligt who is more experienced and plays in the same position.
