Best West Ham Defenders for FPL

Maximilian Kilman (£4,5m)

• The new signing should be 1st choice LCB for West Ham, having played under Lopetegui at Wolves in the 2022/2023 campaign.
• Doesn’t pose much of an aerial goal threat.

Kurt Zouma (£4,5m)

• The captain should start as 1st choice RCB, although he may not play as many games as Kilman due to fitness concerns.
• He’s very good in the air, exemplified by his 3 goals last season.

Vladimír Coufal (£4,5m) / Emerson Palmieri (£4,5m)

• 1st choice RB and LB respectively. Coufal got 7 assists last season, proving that he’s capable of delivering creatively from the right flank.
• Emerson isn’t too shabby either, with a goal and 4 assists from the other side.
