Aït-Nouri was often deployed as a LW last season, and if Wolves keep their 4 at-the-back shape he will likely feature in that position again this campaign.
That advanced position is great as he’s able to get into goal scoring positions quite regularly. Even if he reverts to playing LB, Aït-Nouri still offers a lot going forward, making him a fantastic £4.5m pick.
The only downside is Aït-Nouri’s injury record, meaning he may not play the vast majority of games.
But for £4.5m that’s a risk you can take, especially with an alternative bench option.
Nélson Semedo (£4.5m)
1st choice RB /RWB isn’t as good as Aït-Nouri when it comes to the offensive side of the game.
Suspended for the first 3 games of the season.
Craig Dawson (£4.5m) / Toti Gomes (£4.5m)
The 1st choice CB pairing going into the new campaign.
Dawson is more of an aerial threat from set pieces, while Toti is better with the ball and is likely to get more assists.
Yerson Mosquera (£4m)
Mosquera completed half a season at Villareal in 2023/2024 where he was a starter.
He will likely become a starter at RCB for Wolves during the campaign, perhaps by the mid-way point depending on how Dawson manages to perform.
