Best Aston Villa Forwards for FPL

Ollie Watkins (£9m)

• Aston Villa’s 1st choice striker is a great shout for an FPL forward.
• His goal scoring ability in the league has greatly improved, as he netted 19 goals last season, up from 15 in the 2022/2023.
• Even though Villa have more games this season with European football, Watkins should be able to register double digits for goals and assists.

Jhon Duran (£6m)

• Will most often deputise for Watkins in his absence (i.e. injury or suspension related).
• Doesn’t appear to have fostered a good rapport with his team mates, but he’s capable of bagging a few goals from the bench when called upon.
• Should get more game time this season due to Aston Villa’s involvement in European competition.
