Bournemouth’s Neto captains the team once again this season but isn’t a player I’d be looking at acquiring in FPL.
Despite picking up a modest 7 clean sheets last season, he was prone to the odd benching, having failed to make the starting 11 in 6 games out of 38.
For a goalkeeper, that’s quite a hefty number of games to be absent for, and because Andoni Iraola is comfortable with rotating his goalkeepers, we could see Travers get even more games as a starter this year.
Mark Travers (£4.5m)
Bournemouth’s 2nd choice goalkeeper could see more game time this season, as Neto’s performances dipped towards the tail end of the last campaign.
Managed to impress in limited appearances, but there are definitely better goalkeepers to select who have security of minutes and a stronger defence in front of them, so Travers is a player I’d definitely avoid as well.
