Leno was an excellent goalkeeper choice last season at £4.5m, but this season he isn’t as great a pick due to the £5m price point and the loss of highly-rated DM João Palhinha who departed for Bayern Munich this summer.
I expect a regression from the 10 clean sheets Leno registered last season and despite his propensity to pick up more than a handful of save points over the season, I would ultimately steer clear because of the reduced clean sheet potential.
