Areola is the 1st choice for West Ham, and I anticipate a decent season for the French shot stopper.
The departure of David Moyes and the arrival of Julen Lopetegui means there’ll be a change in tactical approach, which could benefit Areola.
Moyes liked to soak up opposition pressure and hit teams on the counter, whereas Lopetegui likes to dominate ball possession. This could mean fewer saves for Areola over the course of the season, although that could be compensated for with more clean sheets.
